论《派之旅》中人性的自我超越On Self-transcendence of Human Nature in Life of PI
本文基于弗洛伊德的人格理论，通过派从险境到安全的奇幻冒险经历，关注了人性的自我超越。在文献回顾章节中，通过比较现存的各类文章与观点，更多的思考了本文的意义与特点。通过了解小说中派的隐含寓意，发现隐藏在派中的本我、自我与超我。本文论述了主人公的超我是如何在遭遇了命运的不确定性，以及与人性中的原罪进行抗争之后，通过发挥本我与超我，从而显现出来。最终，派通过他表现出的伟大宽容和善意，获得了真正的人性自我超越。

Abstract
This thesis based on Freud's theory of personality focuses on self-transcendence of human nature according to the special adventure experience of Pi’s legendary journey from danger to safety. In the chapter of literature review, by comparing existing diverse articles and propositions, the author considers more about significance and features of this thesis. By learning the implicit metaphor from Pi in the novel, it discovers the hidden id, ego and super-ego of Pi. This thesis illustrates how the super-ego of Pi culminates in manipulating the id and ego of hero after Pi is impacted by the indeterminacy of destiny and struggled against the inherent original sin in the human nature. Finally, Pi achieves his real self-transcendence of human nature by expressing his great generosity and conscience.
