论《无名的裘德》的艺术特色On the Artistic Features of Jude the Obscure
Abstract
Thomas Hardy (1840-1928) is acknowledged as one of the most distinguished realistic novelists and poets. He was a prolific writer, and Jude the Obscure, his last novel, was his most controversial. Since its publication in 1895, Jude the Obscure has aroused a storm of violent denouncement. Yet it is still regarded as the best work of Hardy by many critics.
The novel Jude the Obscure is the classic works of Thomas Hardy. In this novel Thomas Hardy created Jude the male protagonist . And by Jude's life tragedy show his introspection and criticism of traditional morality and human nature. And the academic analysis of this novel is controversial.
In this novel, there are many scholars, have studied the tragic destiny, have studied the types of novels, but few people study the characteristics of the works of art. This paper is divided into 3 parts, through the analysis of the theme of the work and its writing techniques to analyze its artistic characteristics.
The first chapter of this paper will review dispute Thomas Hardy's thoughts and creation and status of art and the novel Jude the Obscure as well as the contents of the novel caused were introduced, and the starting point clear in this paper.
The second chapter is based on the social background of the author's intention of writing the book, where people with the author's own experience of shadow, this chapter will by the author and the analysis of the contents of the book to express the author's intention.
The third chapter will analyze the characters and experiences and works writing techniques to explore the characteristics of the works of art. The author hopes that this thesis would allow people to this work and understanding of the author and the social environment better.

摘 要
托马斯·哈代（1840-1928)被看作是十九世纪末最伟大的现实主义小说家和诗人之一。他作品众多，《无名的裘德》是他的最后一部也是最受争议的一部小说。自1895年出版之后，就受到了猛烈的抨击，但它仍被看作是哈代最出色的小说之一。
这一部小说是托马斯·哈代的经典作品，托马斯·哈代在这一部小说当中塑造了裘德这一个男性主人公形象，并且通过裘德的人生悲剧对传统道德以及人性进行反思和批判。而学界对这部小说的分析也是众说纷纭。
对于这部小说，学界有众多研究，有人研究其主人公的悲剧命运，有人研究其小说类型，但鲜有人研究作品的艺术特色。本文分为3个部分，将通过分析作品的主题思想以及其写作手法来分析其艺术特色。
本文第一章将综述托马斯·哈代的思想和创作及艺术地位并对其长篇小说《无名的裘德》的内容以及这本小说所引发的争议进行介绍，同时明确本文的出发点。
第二章基于当时的社会背景来分析作者写作的意图，书中的地点人物都带有作者自身经历的影子，本章将通过对作者以及书中内容的分析来表达作者的写作意图。
第三章将通过分析书中人物的性格以及遭遇和作品的写作手法来探究作品的艺术特色。本文作者希望能通过本文让人们对这部作品以及其作者还有当时的社会环境有更深的了解。
