基于礼貌原则试析汉英双语中的邀请

邀请是人际交往中的基本活动，是我们日常生活中普遍存在的言语交际现象，并作为一种积极的礼貌的社会行为存在。自从提出礼貌原则以后，就有不少的专家和学者从这方面对中西方在邀请这一言语行为进行了对比研究和分析，他们研究的重点大多是两者之间的差异对比。然而在世界各国日益交流频繁的今天，不同文化中的邀请差异可能在日益减少。引起这种结果的主要原因之一就是在频繁交流中，不同文化之间相互影响，相互渗透，人们还是要保持自已文化中独特精华的部分，邀请也是一样。人们对此有了进一步地认识，这样就能更好地提高人文跨文化交际能力。

A Tentative Analysis of Chinese and English Invitations from the Perspective of Politeness Principle

Abstract

Invitation is a basic activity in social communication. It is a common speech act in our daily life and it usually exists as a positive social activity. Since the publication of Politeness Principle, many experts and scholars have studied and analyzed the speech act of invitations between China and the West and their main points are dissimilarities between these two different cultures. However, dissimilarities between Chinese and English invitations probably have been reduced in today's frequent interactions among all countries. One main reason is that different cultures have influenced and permeated each other during more and more communications. People still have to stick to their own cultural characteristics and their essence, invitations should be like this. Since people have a further awareness of this and they can improve their communicational ability.
