生态翻译理论视阈下张爱玲《海上花》译本研究
中国文学翻译，尤其是中国小说的汉译英过程是错综复杂的。这是因为汉语本身具有模糊性的特点，中国作家时常使用的写作手法也使得这一翻译类型受到原文很大程度上的制约。因此，研究一部晚清时期中文小说的汉译英作品，需要利用生态翻译理论支撑，来对译文做出全面的、符合当时时代背景的评价。作者从生态翻译理论的角度，探索张爱玲译本《海上花》的产生背景、翻译风格及在生态翻译环境中，译作收到了何种影响。全文从生态翻译理论的基本原则出发，探究《海上花》原作者韩邦庆的背景、生平和时代特点，译作时代文化背景及译者张爱玲本人作为译者对译文做出的决定性影响，并做出了宏观分析。另外，本文还从微观角度，研究此种翻译生态环境中，具体段落或片段的翻译技巧及策略。借此文，作者希望翻译界对《海上花》的汉译英工作给予更多的重视，并希望能够对以后的研究工作起到抛砖引玉的作用。

A Study on Eileen Chang's Translation of The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai from the Perspective of Eco-translatology Theory
Abstract
Literature translation, especially the translation of Chinese novels into English can be complicated and subtle due to the vagueness of Chinese language and the rhetoric devices Chinese writers prefer. Therefore, in order to assess the translation of a Chinese novel written in late Qing Dynasty, it is significant to adopt the eco-translatology theory so that a comprehensive study that fits the domestic atmosphere of that era can be conducted. This paper aims to explore the background and translation style of Eileen Chang's translation of The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai from the perspective of eco-translatology theory. The author unfolds her study with the fundamental rules and principles of eco-translatology theory, and continues to explore the factors that influenced the translation in the ecological environment of translation in a macro level analysis: the background of the original text and writer, the background of the translation and translator himself/herself. In addition, this paper does a micro level analysis and investigates the translation tactics as well as strategies of certain sentences created in such ecological environment of translation. In conclusion, this paper does a qualitative research and studies The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai in a hope that more attention can be drawn to the study of its translation.
