伴随着信息社会的到来，信息的极大丰富必然要求人们适应信息社会。
本“超市连锁店管理系统的开发与设计”是运用信息技术，对一家连锁超市的分店，建立具有人事档案管理子系统、库存管理子系统的管理信息系统，以简化人事档案管理、提高商品库存效率、降低工商管理成本为目标而进行的系统开发。
该系统运用结构化方法进行系统开发。系统遵循了结构化方法要求的步骤进行了超市管理信息系统的分析、设计，应用VB语言编写而成。系统实现后，在人事档案管理方面能完成档案查询、档案更新、档案输出等功能；在库存管理方面能完成库存输入、库存修改和库存查询等工作。

ABSTRACT
Going along with the coming of information society, the tendency of the abundance of information requires people to adjust themselves to suit the informative society. Based on informative technology, this survey includes personnel files controlling branch system and its storing system which targets at simplifying the management of personnel files, improving the efficiency of commodities’ reserves, and reducing the prime cost of business administration.
This system develops according to the methods of overall construction. Following the steps of structural methods, the system adopts visual basic language to analyze the informative management system of supermarkets. After realizing the system, on one hand, it could fulfill the function of inquiring, renewing, outputting; on the other hand, it could complete the function of inputting, modifying, looking up the information storage.
