俗语“躲猫猫”由于特殊社会事件而在汉语语言文化里追加了特别的社会隐喻，由于该词蕴义丰富，迅速走红，华尔街日报对此进行了报道，《新英汉大字典》把它作为2009年热点词汇着重收录并给出译本，2010年2月网络上又出现了第三个译本。本文根据语言学中的精确原则，省力原则及笔者提出的填补空白的原则探析各个译本，并借此推及其他流行词汇，大胆尝试一种新的翻译策略。关键词（本论文范文的主要论点）：躲猫猫词汇社会隐喻 翻译Abstract: One social event added new meaning to the Chinese word “躲猫猫”in Chinese culture and, because of the new special metaphor it has got very popular. The Wallstreet Journal reported and gave one translation; the New English-Chinese Dictionary took it as the popular word of the year 2009 and also gave another version; but in February 2010 netizens gave another one. The essay is to analyze these three versions in accordance with the three principles, precision, economy and filling the gap.
