On the Distinct English and Chinese Translating Techniques of Business Contracts
Abstract: In economic society, the position of business contracts has been more and more important. A contract refers to an agreement establishing, modifying and terminating the civil rights and obligations between subjects of equal footing. So the language for contract is different from that for basic English or literature. The centre part of this paper is explaining the distinct Chinese and English translating techniques and the lexical, semantic and stylistic features of business contract through the models translated by the specialist of this academic field. And vice versa, the explanation will be helpful to our translating and drafting English business contacts.

浅谈商务合同中英汉翻译的技巧
摘 要：经济社会，合同的地位变的越来越重要。合同是约定当事人权利义务的正式文件，所以对于合同翻译的语言要求就不同于一般基础英语或者文学作品。
本文的核心部分就是通过从此领域的专家曾翻译的经典范例来对商务合同翻译的技巧进行阐述。同时也通过范例对商务合同的一些词汇特征、句法及语体特征加以论述。我们对于商务合同英语的词汇、语法等特征和对翻译技巧的了解，反之必然会对我们的翻译甚至起草英文合同大有裨益。
