虽然人口老龄化是世界人口发展所面临的共同问题，但针对中国人口老龄化具有其显著的特征：老年人口绝对数量大，老龄化和高龄化速度快，地区和城乡差别大，且“未富先老”，超前于经济发展水平。本文概括地阐述了我国人口老龄化趋势与基本特征，分析了人口老龄化对我国经济和社会的重大影响，提出了针对人口老龄化的挑战所应当采取的宏观对策。特别是要重视“银色人力资源”的开发，变人口老龄化的压力为促进经济社会发展的动力。

Abstract
Although the aging of the population is facing the world's population, the development of a common problem, but for the aging of the population of China with its remarkable features: the absolute number of large elderly population, aging and aging fast, big difference between urban and rural areas, and "not old rich first, "ahead of the level of economic development.
