论英汉语言在词汇上的差异及对翻译学习的影响

  英语已发展为一门世界性语言，并成为我国对外交流的主要工具；而翻译便成为必要的交流形式。语言学习难在翻译，翻译学习难在掌握语言之间的差异。由于文化、历史、地理环境和思考方式等的不同，英汉两种语言之间存在着很大的差异，这就成为英汉互译的最大障碍。针对这一问题，本课题对英汉语言在词汇上的差异进行了研究。本文分为两大部分，第一部分从三方面阐述了英汉语言在词汇上的差异；第二部分阐述了掌握英汉两种语言在词汇上的不同之处的益处。

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ENGLISH AND CHINESE ON THE VOCABULARY AND THE IMPACT ON IT

ABSTRACT

    English that has developed as a worldwide language has become our main tool to fulfill international communication, and translation has become a necessary method.
    The most difficult thing in linguistics is doing translation; the most difficult thing in translation is master the difference in language between countries. Owing to the different culture, history, geographical environment and thought pattern, there is a huge difference between English and Chinese, so it becomes the biggest obstacle in doing translation. The paper is an attempt to study the difference between English and Chinese on the vocabulary, for the purpose of helping Chinese English learner find countermeasure of translation and improve their translation level. It is consist of two parts. Part one describes the difference between English and Chinese on the vocabulary from three aspects. Part two demonstrate the benefit of grasp the difference between English and Chinese on the vocabulary in doing translation.
