建构和谐社会不仅是实现我国经济社会更快更好地发展的需要更是我国当前一大重要的政治目标。而作为党和人民的耳目喉舌及大众信息来源重要渠道的大众传播，它对和谐社会建构的意义，是现在应该考虑和研究的一大重要问题。所以笔者在此对大众传播对和谐社会的意义进行了简单的研究。本文将重点阐述大众传播在构建和谐社会过程中的功能及存在的问题并结合大众传播的这些功能与问题从人与自然的和谐、人与社会的和谐、人与人的和谐来阐述大众传播对和谐社会建构的意义。

Abstract
Constructing a harmonious society is not only the demand of achieving faster and better economic and social development, but also is an important political goal of our country. As an important channel for public information, the mass media, just like the party and the people's eyes and ears, is one of the important issues we should consider now. Therefore, this thesis here conducted a simple study to the significance of mass media to construct a harmonious society. This thesis will mainly focuses on the functions and problems of the mass media in the process of building a harmonious society, and combining with these functions and problems, it will elaborate on the significance of the mass media to the construction of the harmonious society from three aspects: the harmony between man and nature, the harmony between human and the society as well as the harmony among human beings.
