【内容摘要】

试论英语专业低年级学生词汇学习策略的使用【摘要】: 英语词汇学习策略是研究第二语言习得的学者和英语教师一直关注的课题。国内外学者在研究词汇学习策略的分类,具体词汇学习策略的研究,以及学习者词汇学习策略的使用状况方面取得了很多成果。本研究的主要目的是要了解英语专业低年级大学生使用英语词汇策略的总体情况,使用的一些具体的策略,策略使用与他们的词汇量之间的相关性,以及英语专业一年级学生与英语专业二年级学生在词汇学习策略使用上是否存在差异。本文针对以上调查问题,通过问卷调查的形式,将得到的数据用SPSS软件分析,得出相应的结果,并对研究结果进行逐一分析原因,最后提出了本研究对英语词汇教学的启示意义。

A Study on
Vocabulary Learning Strategies of Low-grade English Majors

Abstract:The study of English vocabulary learning strategy (VLS) has always received close attention by researchers in the field of Second Language Acquisition as well as English teachers aiming to improve the student’s vocabulary learning. Researchers home and abroad have made many fruitful attempts concerning the classification of VLS, the specific VLS, and the VLS uses by learners. This study is an attempt to obtain the overall pattern of VLS used by low-grade English-majors, the correlation between VLS and vocabulary size, and the differences of strategy use between Grade One and Grade Two of low-grade English-majors. In consistency with the above research questions, a vocabulary learning questionnaire and a vocabulary size test are administered, the results of which are then analyzed by SPSS. Discussions are made based on the statistics obtained and some teaching suggestions are then provided.
