Long Sentences
Abstract: This article begins with describing the reason for why it is difficult to
translate English long sentence and listing many relevant examples to prove and
analyze it. The second part deals with the understanding of English long sentences. It analyzes a sentence’s structure and grammar knowledge from the angle of time sequencing and logic order. At last, the article introduces four methods to respond to the long sentences translation after searching for large amounts of materials according to the analysis above. They are sequential method、backwards sequential method、method of translating partly and method of translating integrally. These methods are just for reference and they have to be improved.

英语中长句的理解与翻译
摘要：本文从描述英语中长句的翻译难度的原因说起，并且举了许多相关的例子加以证明和分析。第二部分则把重心放在英语长句的理解上面，分别从时间顺序和逻辑顺序角度来解析句子的结构和语法知识。最后本文综合上述分析，在查阅了大量的材料之后，推荐了四种对付英语长句翻译的方法，分别为：顺译法、逆译法、分译法、整译法。本文提供的方法仅供参考，有待改进。
