马克吐温的写作风格形成的社会背景 
摘要：马克吐温，原名塞缪尔朗赫恩克莱门斯。1835年生于密苏里州的汉尼巴尔。1856年写出第一部幽默小说《加拉维县有名的跳蛙》。马克吐温善于描绘地方人物，风光，风俗，方言和服饰等，马克吐温的幽默，是对社会不公正和沦丧的浪漫主义的批判。本文从对其生平和写作风格的了解出发，通过了解19世纪美国现实主义文学的特点，归结19世纪美国南北战争后文学创作的情况。从这一大环境出发，通过对马克吐温的作品的分析，尤其是通过对其作品中的人物形象的剖析，对环境描写的分析以及对作品中使用的写作手法的了解，来了解其作品中揭露的社会现实，达到通过了解这些显示弄清楚影响马克吐温的写作风格形成的社会背景的目的，以便更深入的了解南北战争后的美国社会对文学的影响。

The Social Background in Which Mark Twain’s
Writing Style was Formed

Abstract: Mark Twain ,pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens , was born in the town Hannibal of Missouri in 1835.His humorous tale The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calvaras County was published in 1865.Mark Twain preferred to present social life through portraits of the local characters of his region ,the landscape and the customs ,and dialects and costumes were included .The social injustice and the decayed romanticism were criticized and satirized by his humor This paper ,by knowing his life story and his writing style ,by knowing the character of realistic literature ,concludes the influence that the Post-Civil War America has made on literature .Through this point ,by analyzing his works ,especially the figural analysis ,the environmental analysis and the writing style’s analysis ,we know the social reality he had disclosed in his works .By knowing these ,we reach our purpose on knowing the social background in which Mark Twain’s writing style was formed ,and know the influence that the Post-Civil War America has made on literature deeply.
