浅析托妮•莫里森《秀拉》中的女权主义思想
摘  要

论文从托妮•莫里森《秀拉》中的女权主义思想出发，分析了处在社会边缘的美国黑人女性在白人与男人的双重压迫下的痛苦挣扎和艰难的自我追寻历程，描述了女主人公秀拉的一系列反传统反道德的行为，来展示美国黑人女性新形象以及向传统男权挑战的女权思想。作者指出造成黑人女性悲剧命运的原因是多方面的，而根源在于种族压迫与性别歧视。小说中女权主义思想的应用，不但增强了小说的可读性和深刻性，而且深化了对种族压迫与性别歧视的批判。

An Analysis of Feminism in Toni Morrison’s Sula
    
ABSTRACT

On the basis of the feminist elements in Toni Morrison’s Sula, this paper attempts to analyze the course of Afro-American women’s hard struggle and painstaking pursuit of self on the society verge under the double oppressions of the white and the male and describes the heroine Sula’s series of deeds against tradition and morality so as to reveal the new image of Afro-American women and their feminist protest against patriarchy. The author points out that various factors should be responsible for the tragedies of the Afro-American women, racial oppression and gender prejudice are the root causes. The employment of feminist elements in Sula not only adds to the readability and profundity of the novel but also intensifies its indictment against racial oppression and gender prejudice.
