浅谈英语电影片名汉译中异化与归化的运用
 
摘  要

电影片名是反映电影主题最关键的一部分。其翻译的好坏将直接影响文化传播及票房收入。文章通过分析电影片名的命名方法和特征、片名翻译的现状和常用技巧，从归化和异化两个翻译策略分析电影片名翻译的问题，并列举大量实例。最后得出结论：在翻译片名时，如果剧情中多包含人名﹑地名或历史事件时，异化当首先应用。而当剧情中包含文化词﹑宗教﹑地理位置时，则更趋向于应用归化法。

ABSTRACT
 
 Film titles, as an essential part, reflect the theme of the film, film title translation by then has played a significant role in cultural exchanges. And the quality of film title translation will directly influence the culture exchange and box office. This thesis, based on the analysis of the naming approaches and features of English movie titles, puts forward the general strategy of English movie title translation. After discussing the theories of domestication and foreignization and the applications of them in English movie title translation, the author draws a conclusion that foreignization should be preferred and favored when we translate the text full of names of people, place and historical affairs, while domestication should be favored when the text is full of culture-loaded words, religions or geographical location, religion information.
