从《桃花源记》的三个不同译本看意识形态对翻译的影响
摘  要

美国比较文学家和翻译理论家勒菲弗尔提出制约翻译的三个要素是意识形态、诗学、赞助人。而诗学和赞助人都与意识形态密不可分，所以意识形态是最重要的因素。文章以勒菲弗尔的意识形态操纵理论为基础，首先对中国古典文学奇葩《桃花源记》的三个不同英译本进行简单的介绍，然后探究林语堂、海陶玮和方重在选择翻译文本时所受的个人形成的意识系统影响，最后对比三个译本在词汇、句法和语义方面的不同探究不同意识形态对不同翻译策略的应用的操控，指出译者的翻译行为的全过程受意识形态的操控。

Analysis of Ideological Manipulation on Translation from Three English Versions of The Peach Colony
 
ABSTRACT

Lefevere, American comparative litterateur and translation theorist, advanced that ideology, poetics and patron are the three factors manipulating on the translation. And both poetics and patron are inseparably associated with ideology. Thus ideology is the most important factor manipulating the process of translation. In the thesis, based on Lefevere’s theory of manipulation the author tries to explore the influence of ideology on translation by a case study of three different English versions of The Peach Colony—LinYutang’s version, James Hightower’s and Roland C. Fang’s. The thesis explores the different ideology in their selection of the text, and compares the different strategies on lexis, syntax and semantic influenced by the ideology. From the case study, the thesis shows that the whole process of the translator’s act is manipulated by the ideology.
