从合作原则角度探讨情景喜剧《老友记》中的言语幽默
摘  要

言语幽默在一定的程度上阻碍了英语学习者对情景喜剧的理解和欣赏。文章选取了大家所喜爱的情景喜剧《老友记》部分幽默事例作为研究对象，探讨了《老友记》中幽默效果的实现。论文首先介绍了幽默的定义及其分类，揭示了情景剧中幽默的产生，然后介绍了合作原则及其相关准则。最后，从合作原则的角度对该剧中的幽默话语进行了详细地分析，发现幽默的产生主要是违反了合作原则中数量，质量，相关性和方式等准则。文章的探讨有助于提高英语学习者欣赏该喜剧，同时提高学习者理解美式幽默的能力。

An Analysis of Verbal Humor in Sitcom Friends from the Perspective of Cooperative Principle

 
ABSTRACT

The verbal humor in the famous American sitcom Friends, to a certain degree, prevents the English learners from appreciating the sitcom effectively. This thesis chooses sitcom Friends as study material to analyze the humorous effects. First, it gives an introduction of the definition, classification of humor in Friends. Second, CP and its sub-maxims are presented. Last, this thesis analyzes the verbal humor in Friends from the perspective of CP, finding that humor in Friends mainly is produced by flouting the maxims of CP. Meanwhile, the effects of verbal humor are illustrated in details. The study is sure to help English learners to appreciate the sitcom and improve their ability in understanding the American humor.
