《牛虻》主人公亚瑟•伯顿的情感世界浅析
摘  要

小说《牛虻》的主人公亚瑟•伯顿有着丰富而矛盾的情感世界，论文从三个方面探讨其动态情感。亚瑟由一个幼稚虔诚的天主教徒转变为一个成熟的无神论者。最初因为受宗教信仰的束缚，他对革命持怀疑态度，而后来当他意识到宗教的欺骗性时，他成为了一位真正的忠诚的革命家。爱情方面，亚瑟对待心爱的女人和情人之间持截然不同的态度。他把心爱的女人琼玛当作天使，而对待情人琦达，则有着很强的大男子主义思想，觉得她作风不正，是个恶魔。亲情方面，成长中的亚瑟•伯顿得到蒙太尼里的亲切关爱和教导，而在发现教会和教父的虚伪后，便以尖锐的矛头对抗教会及蒙太尼里。后来虽由于不可割舍的亲情被捕，但仍然爱蒙太尼里并与之倾诉，与既是教父又是生身父亲的蒙太尼里的矛盾情感，由爱到恨，又回到爱。

On the Feeling World of the Hero

ABSTRACT

The feeling world of the protagonist Arthur Burton in The Gadfly is rich and contradictory. The present paper discusses his dynamic emotion world from three aspects. Arthur’s revolutionary emotion becomes mature as he grows from a weak reverent Catholic to a mature atheist revolutionary. At first, because of his religious belief, he holds suspicion to revolution. When he realizes the fraudulence of religion, he becomes a genuine loyal revolutionary. In love Arthur treats between his beloved woman and his lover with entirely different manners. He treats his beloved woman Gemma as an angel, but treats his lover Zita with very strong male chauvinism. He thinks that her attitude is not positive and she is a devil. When he grows up, Montanelli gives him great care and instruction. He admires Montanelli and they are in great intimacy. When he discovers the hypocrisy of the church and the priest, he opposes to the church and Montanelli with incisive struggle. Then he is arrested because of his parent love for Montanelli. But he still loves Montanelli and wants to talk with him before his execution. His parent emotion with his padre and natural father Montanelli is full of ambivalence, beginning from love to hate, then returning to love.
