论《飘》中女性人物的婚姻观

论文主要讨论《飘》中女性人物的婚姻观。小说问世以来，对它的研究侧重于人物的性格分析、小说标题的深刻内涵、斯佳丽的“明天”心绪以及家园意识等几个方面。爱情和婚姻是人类永恒的话题，也是贯穿小说的一条主线。论文从三个方面对女性人物婚姻观进行讨论，旨在通过阐述《飘》中女性人物特别是斯佳丽的爱情和婚姻，从社会环境、经济状况和人物自身性格来分析女性人物婚姻观的形成因素。在这些因素中，战争是一个转折点，男人冲锋陷阵，妇女走出家门出外谋生，女性人物的婚姻观随之发生变化，打破了依赖男性的婚姻观。同时，通过探寻作者玛格丽特•米切尔的生平来考究其婚姻观，并以此对作者及其作品中女性人物的婚姻观进行比较。

On the Marriage Attitude of the Female Characters
in Gone with the Wind
 
ABSTRACT

The paper mainly discusses the marriage attitude of the female characters in Gone with the Wind. Since its publication, the previous study of Gone with the Wind focuses on such aspects as the analysis of the personality of the characters, the profound connotation of the novel’s title, Scarlett’s tomorrow consciousness and home consciousness. Love and marriage is the eternal topic and an elemental thread running through the novel. The paper aims at studying the marriage attitude of the female characters from three perspectives. It analyzes the reasons underlying the marriage attitude in terms of the social environment, the economic factors as well as the personalities of the ladies by stating the love and matrimony of the female characters. Among these factors, the war is a turning point. Men fight in the battle while women go out to seek livelihood so that the marriage attitude of the female characters changes which breaks the attitude of depending on men. Meanwhile, the paper attempts to investigate Margaret Mitchell’s life experiences to study her own marriage attitude and make a comparison between Margaret’s and her female characters’ marriage attitude in her novel.
