英语新闻标题作为新闻报道的开门点睛之笔，具有特定词汇、语法和修辞特点。尽管每一个学习英语的人都或多或少对英语新闻标题中的这些特点有所留意，但是仍然有许多读者经常感到英语新闻报刊的标题晦涩难懂，甚至茫然不知所云，这是读者感到普遍存在的问题。文章在对已有文献的搜集和整理的基础上，从英语新闻标题的用词方面来分析：如在英语新闻标题中名词、短小词、缩略词、截短词和数词特别是时髦词的大量使用。从英语新闻标题的语法方面来分析：如在英语新闻标题中广泛使用现在时、使用非谓语动词、经常省略虚词和小品词。从英语新闻标题中的修辞方面来分析：如英语新闻标题广泛使用从语音、词法、句法的修辞方法。然后文章通过一系列的具体例子来分析英语新闻标题的特点，以便读者能够更好地理解英语新闻，并从英语新闻中学到必要的知识。总之，文章对英语新闻标题的特点作出了一定深度的分析，有助于以后对这类题材的深入研究。

ABSTRACT
Headlines, as a very important role in English news reports, have special features from lexical，grammatical and rhetorical. Some readers often feel confused and difficult to understand when they read the headlines of English news and some readers even feel nothing about what they have read, which is a very common problem for our English learners if we haven’t grasped relative knowledge. The author makes a collection and clean up at the basis of references and tries to make a concrete analysis from the features of English news headlines. From the lexical, including noun, midget words, acronyms, clipped and vogue words in English news headlines. From the grammatical, including used present tense widely, non-finite verbs and often omission the function words in English news headlines. From the rhetorical, including phonological, lexical and syntactical rhetorical devices are used widely in English news headlines. Through the concrete analysis about the features of the headlines in English news in the aspect of lexical，grammatical, especially rhetorical, the readers can understand the English news much better, and learn a lot from them to improve our English study. All in all, the paper makes a deep analysis about the features in English news headlines and can provides some help for further research on English news headlines in the future.
