浅谈英汉语中的主题结构及其翻译
摘  要

文章在文献回顾的基础上，对国内外主题研究的特点进行了归纳。通过分析主题的概念和主题突出语言的特点，对主题结构作了详细的阐述。接着讨论了汉语和英语主题结构的种类。区分了两组概念——主语突显和主题突显，并指出汉语的主题突显特点和英语主语突显特点。最后介绍了主题结构在翻译当中的运用，在英汉翻译中，主题化的合理处理能更好的体现翻译中功能对等原则。结束语部分简要总结了文章的研究成果，指出文章的局限和不足，尚未解决的问题以及今后努力的方向。

Discussion on Topic Structure in English and Chinese
 and Its Translation

 
ABSTRACT

Based on literature review at home and abroad, this paper summarizes features of previous studies and gives a detailed introduction to topic structure by analyzing the concept of topic and discusses the properties of topic-prominent languages. The main categories of topic structure in Chinese and English are also involved in this paper. Two sets of terms are distinguished: subject-prominent and topic-prominent. English is a subject-prominent language, while Chinese is a topic-prominent language. Finally, this paper talks about the topic structure used in translation. In English-Chinese translation and the appropriate treatment of topicalization can realize the functional-equivalence principle in translation. The final part of conclusion summarizes our findings and points out the limitations and unsolved problems that need to be further investigated.
