浅析中英笑话中的文化差异
摘  要

本文从日常生活中的常见笑话入手分析了中西文化的差异。文章指出了中英笑话中存在的价值观，社会规范，思维方式和宗教的文化差异。人类天生就会制造各种各样的笑话，人们的生活离不开笑话。笑话作为一种贴近人们生活的文学样式是客观存在的。语言能够很好的映射文化，但有时一种语言体系的幽默很难被另一种文化的群体理解，因为幽默作品也传递着文化。笑话张扬民族特质，表现民族文化的历史积淀，从独特角度映衬社会现实。文章引用不同的笑话例子分析其中融入的文化内涵，论证了笑话可以映射中西不同的文化，从独特角度反映社会现实。最后文章关注的是现在生活中常见的笑话类别和形式，希望能从笑话发现现时的文化发展趋势。

On the Cultural Differences in Chinese and English Jokes
 
ABSTRACT

The present thesis attempts to explore the cultural differences in Chinese and English jokes occurred in our life. The paper concerns on the cultural differences in the aspects of values, social norms, thinking patterns and religion. People are born to make all kinds of jokes and life seems not to break away from jokes. Joke, as one of the literature patterns close to people’s life, exists in our life objectively. It has been well received that language mirrors culture. However, joke of one language-speaking group can confuse readers from another culture, because humorous writings are even more loaded culturally. Joke is a manifestation of national character, a display of national history and cultural heritage, unique reflection of social reality. In the thesis, the author uses some humorous examples to analyze the cultural differences involved in jokes, showing that joke can mirror culture and reflect social reality. Finally, the tendency of culture development is wished to be observed through the forms and styles of popular jokes currently.
