中学英语教学问题和对策中教师的重要性
THE IMPORTANCE OF TEACHERS IN THE PROBLEMS AND COUNTERMEASURES IN ELT IN MIDDLE SCHOOLS

Abstract: In China, English language teaching has been an increasing important but difficult task because it seems to fall short of the need from the rapid economic and cultural development and more constant contact with the outside world. At present, English teaching especially in middle schools has many constraints, such as teachers, the basis of students, teaching methods and so on. Based on former workers’ study results, this paper is an attempt to argue the importance of teachers in solving these problems and tries to put forward some suggestions to raise English level of students from the perspective of English teachers. Teachers should pay much attention to the following points: Arouse learning interest; Foster students’ autonomy; Train creative thinking; Explore new teaching forms and methods and Improve professional quality.

中学英语教学问题和对策中教师的重要性
摘要：在中国，英语教学是一项日趋重要而又困难的任务，因为它似乎满足不了经济和文化迅速发展以及与国外日益频繁的联系。目前，特别是中学英语的教学存在许多约束，比如教师自身，学生的学习兴趣以及教学方法等等都存在问题。根据前人的研究，本文力求说明教师重要性，从教师角度提出了一些能提高学生英语水平的建议。教师应注意以下几点：提高学生学习兴趣，培养学生自主性，培养学生创造性，探索新的教学方法和形式以及提高教师专业素养。
