商务英语语篇中的隐喻及其翻译
摘  要

随着社会经济的迅猛发展，商务英语日益成为了国际商务交际的重要媒介，而隐喻在商务英语语篇中层出不穷。本文作者认识到隐喻不仅是一种语言修辞现象，更是一种人类的认知现象。论文从修辞和认知两方面分别对商务英语语篇中隐喻的表层结构和工作机制及作用进行了深入研究，同时还探讨了商务英语语篇中隐喻的翻译方法。研究表明，正确地翻译商务英语语篇中的隐喻有助于提高国际商务交际的效率。结合对商务英语语篇的文体特点的分析，作者认为意译、直译、换译和直译加意译等翻译方法为隐喻翻译的最好方法。

Metaphor in Business English Texts and Its Translation
 
ABSTRACT

With the rapid social and economic development, business English has become an important medium in business activities, while metaphors are widely used in business English texts. The author realizes that metaphor is not only a rhetorical phenomenon, but also a human cognitive phenomenon. This paper studies metaphor from two perspectives: from the rhetorical perspective, metaphors in business English texts are analyzed in terms of surface structure, and from the cognitive perspective, the mechanism and effects of metaphorical construction are revealed. Taking the style of business English texts, the author thinks that literal translation, free translation, metonymy, free translation plus literal translation are the main methods of translating metaphor in business English text.
