英语经济语篇中隐喻的翻译
摘  要

本文首先讲述了英语经济语篇及其语言特点，然后介绍了隐喻的定义和分类，指出它是通过把属于别的事物的词给予另一个事物而构成的。隐喻根据形式可以分为有明显形式的隐喻、只有载体的隐喻、隐藏隐喻、广义隐喻和延伸隐喻。接着阐述了英语经济语篇中的隐喻，隐喻是英语经济语篇中运用最多的修辞之一，被广泛应用于经济语篇之中，是经济语篇中一个重要的部分。经济的全球化增强了经济语篇翻译的重要性，而隐喻则是理解和翻译经济语篇中的一个难题，因此本文通过分析例子，探讨了英语经济语篇中隐喻翻译的两个方法直译和意译。

On Translation of Metaphors in English Economics Text
 

ABSTRACT

This thesis first introduces the English economics text and its language features, and then it moves on to deal with the definition of metaphor and types of metaphor, pointing out that metaphor is the application of a strange term to another term. According to their forms of manifestation, metaphors can be classified into five types: metaphor with obvious form, metaphor with vehicle only, veiled and complicated metaphor, extended metaphor, extensive metaphor. Metaphors in English economics text are specifically discussed. Metaphor, as the one of the most widely used rhetoric in English economics text, is the most important part of English economics text. With the globalization economy, it is more important to translate English economics text, whereas metaphor is a difficult problem in understanding and translating English economics text. So this thesis discusses the two methods of translating metaphors in English economics text, that is, literal translation and free translation.
