从话语风格看性别差异

论文从话语风格这一角度探讨了性别差异在言语交际中的体现。本文首先进行了文献回顾，然后区别了“gender”和“sex”所蕴含的不同意义并对话语风格做出定义；接着对话语中的附和疑问句、打断、重叠、沉默、强调语、模糊语、粗俗语、诅咒语、指令语、提起话题、话题转换进行了分析，并探讨了不同的话语风格及其所体现的性别差异；最后论文揭示了社会、文化、生理和心理因素是造成两性言语差异的重要原因。研究言语交际性别差异具有极大的现实意义, 通过对它的研究, 能提高我们对性别言语差异的意识性，从而促进我们日常言语交际的顺利进行。

On Gender Differences in Perspective of Discourse Style

 
ABSTRACT

This thesis is focused on gender differences in the perspective of discourse style reflected in verbal communication. It begins with a literature review, makes a distinction between ‘gender’ and ‘sex’, and gives a definition to the discourse style. The paper analyzes such aspects in the discourse as tag questions, interruptions, overlaps, silence, intensifiers, hedges, hostility, expletives, commands and directives, gap fillers, topic shifts, and discusses various gender differences reflected in different discourse styles. Finally, this paper reveals the important causes resulting in gender differences including the social, cultural, physiological, and psychological factors. It is of great realistic significance to study gender differences in verbal communication, through which our consciousness of it can be promoted and our everyday verbal communication can be improved.
