In 2008, that is a expanding year of the stock market, index of shanghai exchange increase from 3000 point to 6000 point. Lots of personal investors entered the stock market. Many of them were inspired by the initial profits, leading them invested more in the market. However, after the end of the 2008 Beijing Olympic game, vigorous stock market open the scen of fade. Those who take part in the fluctuating of the market didn’t profit as expected, instead loss some capital there. Huge loss remind investor a concept of diversity. It is fatal to invest all the capital in a single market.
CPI increased a lot in 2011 to 5, which is an dangerous sign because it is one of the symbols of inflation. If investors put their money aside or in the bank, money they hold is actually depreciation. Because interest rate bank giving runs far below CPI. The same amount of money can buy a house nowadays can buy a room of it.
Under the circurmencedance that money can hedge through single-market or no investment.
Diverse investment become an attractive way to avoid risk.
It is hardly possible to invest in the foreign currency and oversea market because these investment is complex and need the help of professional knowledge.
The price of Fund, an instrument managed by professional channel, is stable. Its profit is reasonable and risk is comparatively low. Fund shows its advantages especially in the fluctuating time.
Fund is classified into two type, open-end fund and close-end fund. Close-end fund can’t be redeemed after subscription. Holders of close-end fund can only transfer them to others, so its trading channel is limited. Unlike open-end fund, which can be redeemed after subscription. Since the approval of LOF and LOF, investor can even purchase and sell shares of fund in the exchange, broading the transaction channel.
My essay mainly represents the advantages and advantage of open-end fund through comparison with stocks and different open-end funds and introduces some new instruments of the open-end fund in order to be a reference of investors
