词汇组块在中学英语教学中的应用

 Abstract

    It is well known that vocabulary takes a dominant position in a language and plays a critical part in language teaching and learning. Without vocabulary, none of the five skills of a language (listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating) is made possible. Lexical errors seem to be the most serious obstacles to the communication between second or foreign language learners and native speakers. Using lexical chunks in a right way can help people to communicate more better than before. Lexical chunks in language teaching as a new English teaching method which produces good advice to the English teachers. Firstly this paper introduces the lexical chunks in a brief way. Part One introduces lexical chunks, explaining its definition, classification and functions, and emphasizing the importance of lexical chunks in language learning. Part Two explains the English teaching approaches applying lexical chunks, including in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Part Three describes the research design. It includes subject, design, procedure and discussion.

摘  要

词汇是语言的重要组成部分，它在语言教学过程中起着关键性的作用，听、说、读、写、译五大技能无不依赖于对词汇的充分掌握。二语或外语学习者在交流方面最大的障碍就在于词汇的运用，词汇使用得当，可以很好地帮助人们提高交流水平。词汇组块教学作为一种新的外语教学方法，对于未来英语教学有许多帮助和启示。本论文首先对词汇组块法进行简单地介绍。第一部分详细地介绍词汇组块的概念、分类、功能以及其重要性；第二部分介绍词汇组块法在英语教学中的运用，词汇组块教学方法涉及口语、听力、阅读、写作四个方面；第三部分进行一些尝试性研究，其实验部分包括：实验主体的介绍、实验的设计、步骤及结果分析。
