中学英语词汇教学:问题和策略 On Problems and Strategies to English Vocabulary Teaching in High Schools

Abstract

For vocabulary teaching, there are lots of advanced theories abroad and home, among which Theory of Memory and Theory of Levels or Depths of Processing are two most influential ones. With reform in 2003, some new teaching strategies were proposed; however, only a small part of them are available in practical teaching activities. The paper gives an overall analysis for existing problems as well as their causes and summarizes two useful strategies, namely psychology strategies and culture strategies so as to enhance the qualities of English vocabulary teaching and learning.

摘  要

   关于词汇教学,国内外已有很多先进的理论,影响比较重大的有记忆理论和深层次加工理论,2003年我国课程改革对词汇教学又提出了一些新的教学策略,但在现实活动中,这些新出的理论和倡导的新式教学理念并未得到完全贯彻,操作性也不强,词汇教学效果不明显。本文以现今课堂词汇教学存在的问题为出发点,综合分析产生这些问题的原因,并结合自身的教学行动研究和测验,提出有关词汇教学的心理策略和文化策略,力图帮助广大师生提高英语词汇教学质量。
