On the Role of Language Learning Strategies in the Development of Reading Comprehension

Abstract：Learning strategies play an important role in the process of second language learning，a good learning strategy can help us learn something more quickly, efficiently and relaxed，especially when we are cultivate the ability of reading comprehension. The essay has analyzed the role of the learning strategy on the reading comprehension singly and thoroughly. The essay shows us the definition of learning strategies, the classification of learning strategies, the distinction of learning strategies and learning methods, then the learning strategies have been divided in cognitive and metacognitive strategies. The essay has analyzed the role of cognitive strategies and metacognitive strategies in reading comprehension and the effects of social, psychological and personal factors to reading comprehension by a host of examples. From these points, we can see the importance of learning strategies and its role in reading comprehension. It is a significant research because it help the learner improve the efficiency and reach the final goals.

论学习策略在外语阅读能力培养中的作用

【摘要】学习策略在学习外语的过程中起着一个极其重要的作用，掌握好的学习策略使我们的学习更有方向，更高效，更轻松，尤其在培养外语阅读能力时，好的学习策略更为重要。本文通过大量例证法，对学习策略对阅读能力的影响进行了逐一的全面分析。这篇论文展示了学习策略的定义，学习策略的分类，学习策略与策略与学习方法的区别，对学习策略进行了大体的分析和研究。然后又将学习策略细分为认知策略，元认知策略，通过例证法剖析了不同策略的不同方法对阅读能力的影响。最后又分析了社会、心理、个人等因素对阅读理解的影响。从中我们可以看出学习策略的重要性和它在阅读理解中的作用，这是一项重要的研究因为它有助于提高读者的学习效率以便达到学习目标。
