高中生英语口语学习动机调查
摘要:在对第二语言学习的研究中, 学习动机是语言学习者个体差异因素中最具能动性的因素之一,因此一直是二语习得领域研究的焦点和难点。对于广大的英语学习者来说,口语表达能力的提高历来是一个难关,这样看来以动机作为突破口探索提高口语水平的有效途径将具有重要的理论和实践意义。
通过对某中学70名学生实施问卷调查,并用SPSS对数据进行统计分析,旨在探索高中生口语学习动机的现状,性别差异和与学习成绩的相关关系等问题。数据显示:高中生的口语学习动机无论是从整体还是从各个维度上看都处于中等水平且个体差异较小,不存在显著的性别差异;另外,高中生的内部口语学习动机与英语成绩成显著正相关关系。

Abstract:Among the research on L2 learning, foreign language motivation is one of the most positive variables to individual language learners, which has always been the research focus and difficulty in the field of Second Language Acquisition. To most of the language learners, the improvement of oral capacity is always the difficult point. Under this situation, it can be concluded that exploring the effective ways to develop learner’s English speaking capacity through motivation will bring about both theoretical and practical significance.
    Based on the questionnaire got from 70 students from one certain middle school in Chengdu and statistic analyzed by SPSS , the present study aims to find out the general situation of English oral learning motivation of high school students, as well as the gender difference and its correlation with English achievements, which will bring some implications for both speaking learning and teaching. Results of the study show that high school students’ oral learning motivation is at the middle level with little individual difference, and there’s no significant gender difference in high school students’ English speaking motivation, no matter for the whole scale or the specific dimensions. What’s more, there's significant positive correlation between English performance and intrinsic motivation for high school students.
