一个好男人的婚姻观-简·奥斯汀的《理智与情感》和《傲慢与偏见》中的主要男性角色分析

本文从主要男性人物的性格角度来分析几位代表人物的婚姻观以及从中体现出的简•奥斯汀本人对婚姻的独到见解,并通过比较，突破了前人单一人物分析的局限, 可以达到了解简奥斯丁的婚姻观，价值观和其对理想婚配的理解和认识的目的。 

Abstract
No matter what age or time, love, marriage and family has always been the fundamental matter in human society, the permanent topic of all times. They are connected to the social background, the human morality and characteristics in various forms. English novelist Jane Austen wrote with exquisite detail about lives and loves in eighteenth-century English society, but she herself never married and little is known about the author's own romances. This paper makes a tentative study of the main male characters in Jane Austen’s novels Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. This paper bases on the historical period of Jane Austen’s time, first categorizes the main male characters in these two novels, and then analyzes them individually. The purpose of this essay is to explore the marriage in Jane Austen’s sense and gives an account of the truth that marriage should be bound with love to achieve happiness and eternity, but love is conditional, it depends on the man’s character, his fortune and rank, therefore a good man for marriage is hard to find.
