探究中学生英语课堂文化渗透的策略


Abstract

The present paper concerns with a relationship between language and culture, based on the theories and principles of cross cultural and culture penetrability on the English class of middle school students, deals with definite problems caused by the oriental and traditional education, revealing some of the culture factors’ characteristics applied in English class, which affect the outcome of English learning. An experimental study was designed to test the validity of culture effect on English class, such as the culture definition, culture explanation, culture discussion, culture cooperation and culture performance on English class. For a long time, English teaching has been concentrated on the prescription learning methods, with scant attention paid to the description of cross cultural factors in the English teaching. In this paper, the writer contends that the study of the cross cultural factors will surely enlarge the scope and enrich the content of the English learning in the English class. There are four parts in this paper; which starts with a brief introduction to the current state of English teaching and expose some of the cultural factors influencing English class. Then this paper proposes detailed examples to guarantee the effective cultural English class teaching. Part two and part three constitute the main body of this paper. Finally it ends the research with the conclusion that full performance development in cross culture.

本文在阐述语言与文化的关系的基础上,根据文化的渗透中学生英语课堂的理论和原则,并针对东方与传统教育所造成的明确问题,突出了应用在英语课堂的有关文化因素的教学特点从而影响英语学习的效果。教学实验研究的目的是测试有效性文化教学,通过如文化的定义,文化的解释,文化的讨论,文化的合作和文化的表演等方法上英语课。在相当长的时间,英语教学一直专注于纯教材的学习方法,很少注意描述性教学的跨文化因素。作者认为,这项研究的跨文化因素理应渗入课堂教学,丰富英语学习内容。在本文中,作者还简要介绍了当前我国的英语教学,探讨了文化知识渗透英语课堂的有效因素。然后提出详细的例子,以保证有效地进行文化英语课堂教学。最终的研究与结论充分表明了发展跨文化教学是必然趋势。
