大学英语写作的思维方式的重要性分析


Abstract
This paper presents analyses of the factors that influence the English writing skill of Chinese college students. It brings up the idea that the thinking difference is the basis factor that influence college students’ English writing, especially the “language expression” “thought of writing” and “thinking pattern and the organization of language” etc. Chinese students’ English writing must be complied with the English language features, and students should learn the way how the westerners understand the world and how they express their understanding. This requires them to think in English thinking pattern. Through illustrating some typical errors in students’ English writing and analyzing the causes of their incorrect expressions, the writer aims to cause college students’ attention on western culture’s learning, give strategies and suggestions of avoiding making mistakes causing by cultural confusion, and improve the students’ writing level, so that they can achieve good results in English writing. As for the western culture teaching, it is also required in the English writing teaching course. English writing teaching also lays much stress on the increase of the content of western culture knowledge. Inspired by the relationship between thinking difference and writing, the writer here is going to make a tentative exploration into this problem in the hope of through emphasizing the importance of mode of thinking in English writing, the students can free from the Chinese mode of thinking, and write the authentic essays.

中文摘要

本文对影响大学生英语写作能力的因素进行了分析,在此基础上提出中西方思维差异是影响大学生英语写作能力的根本因素的观点,并具体分析了中西方在“语言表达”“写作思维”“思维模式和语言组织方式”等方面的文化差异对英语写作能力的影响。中国学生的英语写作要符合英语的语言特点,就要学会像西方人那样认识世界,学会像西方人那样表达对世界的认识,也就是要学会用英语思维。通过列举学生英语写作中的典型错误,分析由于汉英干扰因素的影响而使学生不能正确表达词义的原因,作者强调了学习西方思维的重要性,提出了避免错误的对策和建议,以便提高学生的英语写作水平,使学生在英语写作上取得好的成绩。作者还阐述了在英语写作教学中应加强西方文化的教学,增加西方文化知识的教学内容的观点。在研究思维差异与写作关系的启示下,作者将针对这个问题进行一次尝试性的探索。期望在通过强调思维的重要性上,中国学生能够排除和汉语的思维干扰,从而写出地道的英语文章。
