The Western Restaurants in the Crack between Chinese and Western Culture----Analysis of the Differences on Catering Culture from the Perspective of Western Restaurants in China
Abstract: Diet is absolutely necessary in the life of mankind, and even in the existence or development. Because of the differences between Chinese and western cultural traditions, the Chinese and western dietary cultures are different in concept, target, pattern, attribution and nature. We study these differences and then find out the points that can be digested, in order to facilitate the communication about cultures between China and the west. This thesis combines with investigation and analyses the difference on catering culture between Western countries and China. The paper researches under the background of Western Restaurants in China. The difference on catering culture between Western countries and China can be expounded from catering content, cuisine way, catering notion and catering manner these four parts. Besides, we need to find the root that causes the difference. Then we can find out the amalgamation from the difference. Amalgamation is our society's new trend, so we should realize it correctly that will improve the development among the different countries. Realizing the differences between China and western country, Chinese accept and combine the acceptable part that makes our daily food ampler, but Chinese must never lose own characters, which is the correct attitude.

摘要：饮食是人类生活、生存与发展的必需，可是由于中西方文化传统的差异，导致了中西方饮食文化在观念、对象、方式、归属与性质方面产生了差异，研究这些差异，找出可以融会贯通的地方，促进中西文化交流。本文结合调查资料,分析阐述了中西方饮食文化之间的差异,并以中国西餐馆为研究方向。通过从饮食内容,烹饪方式,饮食观念,饮食方式四个方面来分析中西方饮食文化的差异并找出产生差异的根源之处。然后从差异中找融合,融合是社会发展的新趋势。正确的认识世界的融合,从而更好的促进世界各国的和平与发展。了解中西饮食文化差异的同时，接受可以接受的部分并与中国饮食相融合，使我们日常生活中的饮食更加丰富，但又不乏自身特色。这才是我们正确对待中西饮食文化的态度。
