商务谈判的语言技巧

Abstract

Anyone,who involves in business,especially foreign business,would be extremely familiar with business negotiation,since nearly all the business and business cooperation are fulfilled through different types of negotiations. With the economic development, business negotiations between different countries become more and more frequent. There is no doubt that negotiation needs language as a tool to complete. Language serves as a bridge in the business negotiation, because business negotiation is substantially a process that both sides of negotiators express their views, exchange their opinions in order to persuade their opponents with proper words. So,in order to achieve a great success in business negotiation,the negotiators of a company need to master not only the specialized knowledge related with negotiation,but also the solid language foundation and good communicating skills. A successful business negotiation is the fruit of splendid using of language skills between the two sides. The paper will analyze concrete cases to see how to use language effectively in the business negotiations. In the first part of the paper, the author will have a general introduction of business negotiation; in the second part, the author will look at the language features of business negotiation; in the third part, the author will study some language skills of business negotiation. The author hopes the paper could provide a theoretical reference for those engaged in business activities and provide a guideline for a smooth business negotiation.
