翻译在跨文化传播中的作用--以浙江省政府新闻网英译文为例

THE IMPACT OF TRANSLATION ON CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION---WITH A CASE STUDY OF ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS ON ZHEJIANG PROVINCES’S GOVERNMENT WEBSITE

Abstract: Since the reform and opening up, communication between home and abroad have become more and more frequent, which has achieved unprecedented development. The role of translation has also been outstanding. As a social activity for different peoples to communicate and exchange thoughts and cultures, translation has cultural properties and cross-cultural communication characteristics, also it features a double character with communication. The nature of translation is cross-cultural communication. This article attempts from the perspective of the impact of translation on cross-cultural communication, in order to analysis the English translation problems on Zhejiang province's government website. It takes the use of foreignizing and domesticating translation methods to clear the requirements of this news and the solving methods.

摘要：改革开放以来，中外文化交流如春潮奔涌，取得了空前迅猛的发展。翻译的作用也随之日显突出。作为不同民族之间沟通思想、交流文化的一种社会性行为，翻译具有文化属性和跨文化传播特征，又和传播间具有双重性。翻译的本质即为跨文化传播。本文试图从翻译对跨文化传播的作用角度来分析浙江省政府新闻网英译文中出现的具体翻译问题，运用归化与异化方法来简明阐述新闻翻译的要求和解决方法。
