认知视角下二语习得中隐喻能力研究
本文着重研究认知语言学对二语习得的辅助作用。概念隐喻是认知语言学中重要的部分,最新研究证明,通过提高概念隐喻意识,西班牙学生和日本学生可以更好地掌握短语动词。本文开展实验以证明在中国英语教学中,在概念隐喻理论指倒下学生是否同样可以更好地掌握短语动词。实验结果表明,应用SLA的概念隐喻的教学,可以提高短语动词的理解和记忆。这一发现挑战传统的教学方法,并为中国英语教育新方法提出新的暗示。

Cognitive Approach to Second Language Acquisition: Metaphoric Competence
Abstract
This study analysed the connection between cognitive linguistics and second language acquisition (SLA). The research was conducted to determine whether enhancing the students’ awareness of conceptual metaphor can contribute to their second language acquisition,especially the acquisition of phrasal verbs. The instruction and test were taken by Chinese undergraduate students who were English majors. The results indicate that the pedagogy of applying conceptual metaphor to SLA can improve the comprehension and retention of phrasal verbs. The finding challenges traditional pedagogy and raises a new prospective for English education in China.
