论中西方家庭观念的差异——电影《喜宴》的启示

当今社会，随着全球一体化进程的加深和移民数量的增加，对中西方家庭观念的比较研究也显得愈发重要。本文主要通过对电影《喜宴》的分析，举例论证了中西方家庭观念的差异，并分析造成这种差异的根源。文章首先简要介绍电影《喜宴》的主要情节和内容。然后分析家庭观念的定义，接着会对中国人自古以来家庭观念的形成做简单阐述，同样也会对西方家庭观念的研究做一个简要的总结，并阐明其各自的特征。再会通过电影《喜宴》中具有矛盾冲突的情节来表现中西方家庭观念差异，同时结合社会现象对此进行进一步分析。接着将探究中西方家庭观念差异存在的深层原因，主要从自然地理环境，社会经济形态和政治结构方面进行探讨。然后，本文会通过《喜宴》中巧妙的“取长补短”情节得到“差异也可以相互宽容和理解”的结论，阐明中西文化在碰撞冲突中的融合。同时也说明每种文化都有其存在的意义，我们要尊重文化的多样性，这要求我们理解尊重其他文化和观念同时，也要保留中国传统文化。最终，本文将指出中西方文化差异在将来将要面临的新问题。因为凡事都在前进变化之中，于是便不存在永恒的解。文章通过对著名影视作品的分析，从细节入手探讨了中西方家庭观念的差异。

Comparative Study on Family Values between Chinese and Western Cultures Based on the Wedding Banquet
Abstract: Today, with fast development of globalization and increasing number of immigrants comparative researches on Chinese and western families are becoming more and more important. This paper focuses on the differences on family values between Chinese and western cultures according to the research on the movie the Wedding Banquet and analyzes the sources of the differences. First, the plot of the movie is briefly introduced. Then, the definition of family value is cited and the shaping of Chinese families since the ancient times and its features are stated. In the same way, the research on western family is summarized briefly. Next, plots of conflicts between Chinese and western family values are analyzed and the sources of these conflicts are cited including the aspects of physical geographic environment, social-economic formation and political structure. After that, how to deal with the conflicts between Chinese and western cultures is discussed. From the movie "differences can be melted by tolerance and understanding" is stated to express conflicting and blending can be coexisted. And every culture has its meaning to exist so we should respect for cultural diversity. It requires us to learn and understand other cultures and values when we keep our own traditions. Last, the paper points out the new problems we will face. According to the analysis of the famous movie the Wedding Banquet, the paper discusses the differences on family values in details.
