英语专业大学生英语学习动机的激发与培养

21世纪社会发展亟需高素质英语人才。英语专业大学生是主要的人才来源市场。然而现在很多专业学生面临着种种的英语学习困扰,失去了学习英语的热情和动机。众所周知,良好的动机对人的行为发展起着积极的作用。在英语学习中,学习动机对英语专业大学生的学习发挥着重要的作用。在此情况下,激发和培养英语专业学生学习动机是非常重要,更是必不可少的。在这篇论文中,作者讨论了内部动机与外部动机,工具型学习动机与融入型学习动机以及近景的直接性动机与远景的间接性动机。在讨论了这些动机的基础上,作者主要通过调查问卷、访谈、观察、交流沟通、活动等方式对英语专业大学生的英语学习动机做了大量的调查与研究。在前人的研究理论以及作者自身的调查研究以及分析的帮助下,作者提出了一些能够有效地激发与培养英语专业大学生英语学习动机的策略。

Stimulation and Cultivation of English Learning Motivation for College Major Students

 Abstract

In the 21 century, there is an urgent need of high-qualified English talents, most of which are college English major students. However, many major students are suffering various troubles in their English learning, and further lose their English learning enthusiasm and motivation. It is well known that good motivation could affect people’s behaviors in a positive way. In the process of English learning, learning motivation plays an important role to college major students. In this condition, it is very necessary and meaningful to stimulate and cultivate major students’ English learning motivation in their study. In this paper, the author discusses the following three kinds of motivation: internal motivation and external motivation, instrumental motivation integrative motivation, close-range direct motive and the long-term indirect motive. On the basis of the discussion, the author does lots of researches on the college major students’ learning motivation by questionnaire, interview, observation, conservation, activities, etc. With the help of previous theories and author’s researches and analysis, the author points out some strategies that can effectively stimulate and cultivate the English learning motivation of major students.
