从中西方节日看文化差异

中西方节日文化有着巨大的差异，正是这种差异造成了中西方传统节日的跨文化交流与移植的障碍。随着各国交流的日益增加，不同的文化、思维方式、节日习俗在人们的交往过程中不可避免的会出现文化冲突的现象。本文通过中西方传统节日的比较反应文化差异的存在，如何克服文化差异，避免文化冲突，是国际交流更为顺畅。
本论文通过中西方各节日的起源的比较，看出中西方宗教信仰的不同。对中西方在节日活动中的内容、方式做出比较，从中看出中西方民族性格和价值取向的不同。通过比较中西节日中的饮食来探索中西方不同的思维方式和处事哲学，以及在宴席上所反应出的性格差异。从中西传统节日服装的色彩、外形和图案的不同，看中西方文化差异。通过比较得知，任何节日都有其地域性和独特性，只有通过互相承认，互相理解和吸收，才能避免因文化差异所造成的冲突，促使多元文化的形成。

Abstract
The great differences between Chinese and Western festivals lead to the barriers in cross-cultural communication. With the increasing communication between countries, different cultures, thinking ways and holiday customs will inevitably cause some cultural conflicts in people’s interaction. This paper will compare Chinese traditional festivals with Western ones so as to overcome cultural differences and avoid cultural conflicts in cross-cultural communication.
This paper compares the origins of Chinese traditional festivals to the western ones so as to find out the different religious beliefs of different countries. Through the comparison between different contents and manners of activities in Chinese and Western festivals, different national characters and values can be found. Different diets of Chinese and Western festivals reflect the different thinking modes, manners, as well as different personalities. Different colors, shapes, and patterns of clothes worn in Chinese and Western traditional festivals reflect their different cultures. Through comparative study of festival cultures, readers can come to realize that any festival has its own regional and unique character, and only through mutual recognition, mutual understanding and mutual absorption can we avoid conflicts caused by different cultures and promote cross-cultural communication and the formation of multi-culture.
