对《熟路》主题的分析

《熟路》主要讲述了一个黑人老妪菲尼克斯•杰克逊走过漫长的小路，克服千辛万苦去城里为孙儿拿救济药的故事。本文从后殖民主义角度分析了《熟路》的主题意义，论文阐述了爱与责任，菲尼克斯的坚韧以及南方黑人奴隶身份的再现等三个主题。通过分析使读者更深刻地了解作品背后的内涵。

Abstract

 A Worn Path is a tale of a Negro woman—Phoenix Jackson’s journey to town to get medicine for her grandson. This paper studies the themes of A Worn Path from the background of   Post-colonialism, and it elaborates three kinds of themes—love and duty, the perseverance of Phoenix Jackson, and the Historical identity of American Southern black slaves. Through the study, readers can acknowledge the deep connotation of A Worn Path.
