高中英语阅读教学中合作学习理论的应用

阅读教学是高中英语教学的一个极其重要的组成部分。现行的课程标准明确表明:高中英语教学主要提高学生的阅读能力。在英语课堂上,帮助学生解决阅读学习中的问题变得尤为重要,而传统的教学方法已无力增强学生的语言实践能力。在这种情况下,一种有利于全面开展语言实践活动的教学方式“合作学习”的引进无疑会弥补这一不足,也是提高学生学习兴趣和成绩的一种有效方法。本文从合作学习的概念、理论基础、国内外研究动态等方面进行论述及讨论,阐述英语课堂教学中合作学习是学生运用语言和培养实践能力的重要手段,更重要的是“小组合作学习”培养学生的自主学习、团体意识、合作意识及创新思维。最后本文在对目前阅读教学的现状进行分析的基础上,探讨如何运用合作学习理论提高高中英语阅读的质量,旨在建立一种新型的、以学生为中心的、快捷有效的高中英语阅读教学模式。

Abstract

English reading teaching plays a very important role in senior English teaching. The present syllabus and curriculum standard demand that the students in Chinese middle schools should develop and improve the ability of reading. In English class, it has become particularly important to help the students solve or alleviate the problem of reading learning, while traditional teaching approach cannot strengthen students’ ability of English. The introduction of cooperative learning approach, which befits for students’ carrying out language practical activities, will undoubtedly make up the deficiency and can make language learning move a step forward. This thesis discusses in the following aspects: concept of cooperative learning, theory foundation, and researches on CL home and abroad. It presents that cooperative learning approach is important for students to use a language and cultivate their practical capability in EFL classroom. Therefore, “group work” learning approach cultivates autonomy, team spirit, cooperative spirits and innovation. At last part, based on the analysis of the current status of reading teaching and learning, this thesis explores how to put the cooperative learning theory into the practice of promoting the teaching quality of high school English reading class and aims at establishing a new type of fast and effective student-centered teaching model for this course.
