多媒体在中学英语教学中的应用

【内容摘要】

多媒体在中学英语教学中的应用随着信息技术的发展和教育创新的循序渐进,多媒体辅助教学方法已应用于英语教学,它不仅可以激发学生的学习兴趣,营造一个良好的英语交流学习环境,还可以丰富英语教学资源。但是,随着它的普及和应用,也存在一些明显的弊端,如机械性的示范,太大的课堂容量等。因此,如何创造一个和谐的多媒体环境,如何适当地使用多媒体,已成为当今的热点话题。本文简要介绍教育技术及其它与英语教育相结合的现状,并阐述它的理论依据,探讨多媒体辅助教学的必要性、优缺点,提出相应的建议;本文还具体阐述多媒体在英语听力和口语教学中的运用。

Abstract
With the development of information technology and the innovation of education, the Multimedia-Assisted Teaching method (MAT) has been applied in English teaching. It can arouse students' interests in English study and build a good English communication environment, as well as enrich English teaching resources. But along with its popularization and application, some disadvantages have also been obvious, such as mechanical demonstration, too much class capacity, etc.. Therefore, how to create a harmonious multimedia environment and use multimedia appropriately has been a hot topic nowadays. This paper gives a brief introduction of the present situation of educational technology in English teaching and elaborates its corresponding theoretical basis. The author then explores the necessity, the advantages and disadvantages of Multimedia-Assisted Teaching (MAT), and puts forward some corresponding suggestions. In addition, the paper illustrates the application of multimedia in English listening classes and spoken classes
