中美高校校园文化的对比分析

如今,大学已经在世界上成为社会发展的引擎。特别是随着知识经济时代的来临,大学和人类与社会发展更为密切。面对复杂的社会需求,现代大学在某种程度上肩负着更为严重的社会责任,在这种情况下,我们需要从大学校园文化的角度去分析这些问题。
校园文化是社会文化的重要组成部分。如今大多数世界一流的大学都位于美国。这些美国大学能建立国际一流的名声和地位的原因在于,美国大学校园文化造就了他们非凡的特色。在建立世界级的大学过程中,中国的大学大多把美国作为参考。在这个过程中,调查和研究中美这两个高等教育大国的高校校园文化显得尤为重要。
本文试图从中美校园文化的对比分析中寻求文化根源,提出了一些对中国高校更好发展的建议,这有助于为两国的大学和大学学生在新形势下实现更便利的沟通和交流。本文首先介绍了文化和校园文化等相关定义，通过对中美文化之间的差异进行论述，并在之后对中美高校校园文化进行了对比分析。笔者从大学校园文化的主要内容出发，分析了中美校园文化各个内容的特点，在此基础之上提出了对中国高校校园文化建设的建议。

A Contrastive Analysis of Sino-US College Campus Cultures

Abstract: Nowadays, colleges have been the engine of the society development all around the world. Knowledge economy era makes it possible that university, people and society are developing together closely. Facing a complex social need, the contemporary universities undertake much more serious social responsibility. In this case, we need to know from the point of college campus culture and attempt to discuss some feasible solutions for all of these confusions.
Campus culture is an important part of the social culture. Nowadays most of the world's top universities are located in the United States. The reason why these American universities are able to establish the international first-class fame and status partly lies in the fact that American college campus culture made their extraordinary personality. In building a world-class university and a high-level development, Chinese universities mostly put the United States as the reference for their own further improvement. In this process, making relevant survey and research on the two higher education of Sino-US college campus cultures seems particularly important.
This paper attempts to make a comparison between Sino-US college campus cultures and after analyzing the Sino-US campus cultural differences and seeking their cultural roots, proposes some constructive suggestions for Chinese colleges’ better development, which may contribute to achieving the smoother communication and exchange for two nations’ college and college students under the new situation. In the beginning of this article, the author explains some relevant definitions such as culture and campus culture, then talking about the main differences between Chinese and American cultures. Comparative analysis of the Sino-US college campus culture is the main emphasis of this research, the author analyses each aspect's characters of campus culture, on which I based to come up with advices for Chinese college campus cultural constructions.
