基于伦敦8分钟表演报道的新闻话语比较分析

本文简要回顾了国内外话语分析、新闻话语和批判话语分析的发展史。简述了奥林匹克运动的传播意义，特别是北京奥林匹克闭幕式伦敦8分钟表演交接仪式的意义。在中英两国影响广泛的<<中国日报>>和<<每日邮报>>，就伦敦8分钟表演这一事件分别进行了报道。本文对两家报刊的出版史和发展史作了简要介绍，在此基础上。对选自上述两家报刊的两篇新闻报道主要采用Fairclough提出的批判话语分析理论和话语分析的原则进行分析。通过这些分析我们可以真切地发现和感受到不同国家、不同民族在文化上的巨大差异。这种文化差异不仅仅体现在媒体的立场观念、新闻价值判断和报道手法技巧上，还体现在更为宏大的社会文化差异之中。对新闻话语的研究可以有效地帮助人们更好地掌握不同的文化，同时我们也发现新闻话语和社会文化是相互影响的一种辨证关系。

A Comparative Analysis of News Discourse on London’s Olympic Handover Performance

Abstact: This paper has reviewed the development of discourse, news discourse and critical discourse analysis in China and abroad. The paper analyses the effect of the Olympic Games as an international sport movement in cross-cultual communication, and the significance of London’s 8-minute handover performance. China Daily and Daily Mail are two of the famous newspapers in China and Britain. The author makes use of Fairclough’s model about critical discourse analysis and its principles as theory to analyse the two different reports about the same event. From the analysis we can find and feel that there is a vast culture difference between the different countries and different ethnic. These different cultures not only reflect the media’s position and news value and reporting skills, but also reflect the national value, national religion and social culture. After researching the news discourse we know that it can help people to grasp the different cultures more effectively. At the same time, we find that there is a dialectic relation between the news discourse and social culture. Discourse is the source of people’s life style and cultural practices; discourse affects people and helps people to build community and it is also closely related with social change. Because media discourse has a very significant impact on the public discourse. People urgently need to get the information to support them, so among those processes mass media has played a leading role. Because the information is mainly derived from the media, media discourse affects public audience’s understanding of the outside world, people’s thinking are influenced by the media’s discourse. So during the process of dissemination, media discourse means the news text is very important, because it directly guides and controls the ideology of the public, its effect to the social development is unmeasurable.
