翻译的入乡随俗及中国特色词汇的翻译

21世纪是全球化时代，科技使得世界距离缩小，国与国之间的距离缩小。翻译作为文化交流的桥梁，发挥着日益重要的作用。因此，翻译的好坏直接关系到能否成功地将一个具有独特文化的语言向另一种文化语言过渡。然而每个民族在风俗习惯、宗教信仰、思维方式和历史文化背景上存在差异，翻译中存在的问题也日益突显，翻译能否做到入乡随俗成为文化传播及交流的一大难题。由此，翻译策略应运而生。与此同时，文化全球化使中国英语成为一种现象，它开始走出国门走向世界，中国特色词汇也越来越受到世界的青睐。如何准确有效翻译中国特色词汇成为一大课题。本文将从分析语言文化和翻译的关系入手，结合翻译的技巧与策略，探讨翻译在作为架构不同民族及地区文化的桥梁一角中如何做到平衡文化差异。并结合翻译应遵循的原则，从各种科学的翻译策略上下手探讨具有中国特色的词汇翻译及其前景。

Following the Translation Customs and Translation of
Chinese Cultural Words
Abstract: 21st century is becoming an inter-communion world with the progressing globalization. Translation has played a key role in narrowing the cultural differences. Thus, how to successfully transfer the words with unique culture in one language into anther is a great problem. The only way to overcome the barriers lies on analysing the cultural differences and utilizing the translation strategies. Besides, with the development of the Chinese economy, Chinese cultural words gradually become a phenomenon existing everywhere. However, different people have their own different historical background, thinking method and social customs. Cultural differences are the barriers in translating, we can do less in narrowing the cultural differences. Then only turn to following the translation customs and mastering skills and strategies of translation, can we overcome the difficulties. We expect the prosperity of Chinese cultural words. In this paper, the author will begin with a brief exposition of the relations among language, culture and translation, followed by a portrait of current status of translation under the globalization.Then she will expound the differences exist in culture and explain the reasons how cultural differences come into being and also will examine the translation barriers. This paper introduces some methods of translating Chinese cultural words. By further exemplifying problems in translating, the author will illuminate the necessity to follow translation customs and utilize the translation strategies and skills. This paper ends with a conclusion with a prospect of Chinese cultural words.
