国际商务谈判中的语言技巧


针对全球经济一体化的进展,出现了越来越多的国际贸易活动,商务英语在国际贸易谈判中占据了重要的一席之地。随着中国改革开放的日益加深,其国际影响力越来越大,融入全球经济的步伐也在加快。国际商务谈判在企业经营活动中也日趋繁荣。但商务谈判是一个复杂的跨国、跨文化经济活动,而成功的谈判与各方的经济利益密切相关。因此,在国际商务谈判中的语言技巧发挥了非常重要的作用。
商务谈判就是语言交际的过程,事实证明,研究商务谈判中的语言技巧将有助于在国际商务谈判中取得双赢。因此,如何在商务谈判中适当地运用语言技巧是我们应该考虑的首要问题。本文结合相关信息和已有论证,探讨了国际商务谈判语言技能及其功能。本文主要分为三个部分,第一部分紧要介绍了谈判过程中的几个主要阶段以及谈判的重要性;第二部分从四个角度分别详细论证了商务谈判中主要语言技巧功能;第三部分介绍了一些在商务谈判中有效应用语言技巧的具体方法。最后一部分是结论部分。

Language Skills in International Business Negotiations

Abstract

     As global economic integration progresses, increasing international trade activities, including business English in international trade negotiations become essential parts. Owing to the policy of opening up to the outside world in China, business activities have become more prosperous and international business negotiations more significant. However, business negotiations are complex, transnational, and cross-cultural economic activities. Therefore, during the international business negotiations, the language skills play very important roles in facilitating the process of negotiations.
Business negotiation is to some extent a process of language communication. Facts have shown that the researches on negotiation skills contribute a lot to a win-win situation in international business negotiations. Therefore, the appropriate use of language skills is of the first importance when we discuss the business negotiations. Combining related information and proved argumentations, this thesis mainly explores the main language skills’ functions and the corresponding methods of applying them in international business negotiations. In the first part, the author introduces to the readers the main phases involved in international negotiation as well as the importance of negotiations. The second part mainly talks about four main language skills in business negotiations. The third part briefly introduces the specific methods to apply appropriate language skills to international business negotiations. The last part is the conclusion.
