商务口译策略分析

随着中国加入WTO，国与国之间的贸易往来日趋频繁，对口译的需求量也日益增大。商务口译是一门专业求很高的职业，它不仅要求译员有良好的口译技巧，还要求其具备全面的商务知识，扎实的笔记基本功，以及灵活的沟通斡旋能力。为了提高商务口译的流畅性及实效性，减少口译失误，本文从影响商务口译的因素，商务口译的原则，以及商务口译的实战技巧三方面分析论述了商务口译的相关策略。

Abstract

Business interpretation, which is different from written translation, is a language communication activity that requires to listen to and analyze the information of the source language and then to convert it to the symbols of the target language. As a result, it will complete the conveyance of information. Due to the factors as the particularities of the business terms, cultural differences and the non-equivalent translation of Chinese and English, errors often appear in the process of interpreting which will influence the accuracy and fluency of business interpretation. This thesis, aiming at reducing the errors in order to enhance the efficiency of business interpretation, analyzes the strategies for business interpretation in the aspects of factors affecting business interpretation, and principles of business interpretation and practical techniques for business interpretation. The writer of the paper, in terms of the practice of business interpretation, underlines six practical techniques, including good preparation for the topic before interpreting, literal translation for some specific business terms, nonverbal descriptions, imagination and gap filling when some information is missing, role playing and transpositive thinking, and effective note-taking. In the paper, methods like definition, illustration, comparison, deduction and induction are used to demonstrate the viewpoint of the writer. Based on the researches of other scholars, this thesis mainly focuses on the practical strategies for business interpretation and does a deeper research on it. The paper may be used as a reference by some interpreters and also contribute to everyday cross-culture communication activities and cross-culture communication scientific research.
