后殖民翻译理论视角下中国菜名的翻译

 伴随着中国在国际社会中的精彩表现,中外人民就文化领域展开了友好交流,中国文化登上国际舞台。而中国饮食文化作为其中的重要组成部分,也日益绽放出光彩。因此,对于中国菜名的翻译逐渐引起人们的重视。本文基于中国饮食文化传播角度,将参考翻译领域对于中国菜名翻译所作出的研究,从后殖民翻译理论这一新的视角下,通过介绍后殖民翻译理论的含义、重要意义及翻译策略,说明中国菜名蕴藏的文化内涵,以及分析后殖民翻译理论指导下翻译策略实践三个角度,展开更加深入的探索,以求得更为合理的翻译策略。经过分析发现,后殖民翻译理论指导下的异化和杂合翻译策略丰富了中国菜名翻译实践。本文希望此次探索能促进中国饮食文化的对外交流,并为翻译领域的深入研究作出一份贡献。

On Translation of Chinese Dish Names from the Perspective of Postcolonial Translation Theory
Abstract
Along with China’s excellent performance in international area, Chinese and foreigners launch friendly exchange in the cultural area, which marks Chinese culture’s entry into the global stage. Meanwhile, Chinese dietary culture, as an important part of Chinese culture, is also increasingly blooming. Therefore, translation of Chinese dish names gradually arouses people’s attention. In light of cultural spread of Chinese diet, so as to obtain more reasonable translation strategy, according to former research in translation field,a more in-depth exploration for Chinese dish names from the new perspective of Postcolonial Translation Theory, will be launched from three perspectives. And these perspectives are introducing the definition,significance and strategies of Postcolonial Translation Theory,explaining the cultural senses of Chinese dish names and analyzing the translation practice under the guide of Postcolonial Translation Theory. The analysis shows that foreignization and hybridization enrich the translation of Chinese dish names under the guide of Postcolonial Translation Theory. This thesis hopes to promote foreign exchanges of Chinese dietary culture, and make a contribution to further research in this translation field.
